Sugary drinks provide absolutely nothing for you besides added calories. There isn’t a lot to say about them. Indeed they taste wonderful, but if you care for your health you have to opt for water, at least sometimes. By sugary drinks I mean energy drinks, sports drinks, and even some juices.
A study conducted in 2017 found a link between a habit of drinking soda daily and dementia. The whole situation is alarming and if these findings don’t convince you to cut down on soda, I don’t know what will. Oh, and diet soda isn’t the answer, it has about the same health risks as normal soda.
