Another advantage of almond milk is that you can make it yourself. All you need is 1 cup of raw almonds (without salt or oil) and 3 cups of water. Put the almonds in a bowl of water to soak for at least 5 hours (ideally let them soak overnight). Then strain and rinse the almonds with plenty of cold water. Put them in a blender together with the 3 cups of water and beat until a homogeneous mixture is created. Place the resulting mixture in a cotton towel in a large bowl to get the liquid. squeeze it with your hands and squeeze out as much liquid as possible (or you can use a strainer) and store in an airtight container.
